| walked the old faslane branch today
it diverged west from the west highland line at faslane junction. the 2 and a half mile branch was built to bring supplies into faslane port during the war a lot of the construction work was done by german prisoners of war. the line was unusual in that right hand running was used to get the war department staff familer with this type of operation before they went to europe |
